With a strong historical bias towards the leisure industry, Alan Leather Associates has provided a full consultancy service for a number of national clients. Commissions within this category include leisure centres, swimming pools, cinema complexes, museums and exhibitions, hotels and holiday villages throughout the U.K., Europe and as far afield as the West Indies.
The practice provides advice to a large number of clients in the tourist industry on potential developments and on trends in the industry. In recent years there has also been a trend towards the provision of accommodation linked to leisure facilities and this has proved to be a strong element in our workload with a significant number of completed and successful schemes.
An enviable reputation has also been established within all aspects of Golf Club and course design with a number of well known clubs throughout the South West of England utilising our skills for Clubhouse, Hotel and golf course design commissions. ALA is recognised by the PGA as golf course architects.
